A mediaeval village with many tourist attractions. Founded in 1635 by a group of people coming from Caltabellotta.

Day 1

Friday – February 24th

Departure on Airmalta flight KM 640 to Catania at 6.10 am. Group has to reach airport by 3.15am. On arrival in Catania at 6.50 we board our coach and proceed for a quick breakfast before continuing to the centre of Catania. Those who wish, may spend some time doing some shopping from the local market or touring Giardino Bellini and the big piazzas. An optional buffet at Happy Wok before we leave for Ribera where we are given our rooms. Free time for some rest or a stroll around the Hotel area before meeting for our dinner.

Day 2

Saturday – February 25th

After our buffet breakfast, we set out for the famous Temples of Agrigento just about 40 kms away, known for the ruins of the ancient city of Akragas and the well –preserved Greek Temples. Enjoy taking photos in this famous Valley of the Temples. Those interested may visit The Acheological Museum. Nearby here are the famous Turkish steps, which we might also enjoy. The afternoon after lunch will be devoted to a Tour of Burgio known as the City Of Bells but also very famous for its beautiful ceramics., Nearby lies another important baroque village Sambuco that was lately given the prize of BORGO DEI BORGHI…. After such a full interesting day, Dinner awaits us in our comfortable Hotel

Day 3

Sunday – February 26th

After our buffet breakfast today we’re off to Marsala internationally famous for its wine. Be ready for some wine tasting while we visit the renowned Cantine . MOST FAMOUS in Italian History for the landing of the Thousand. Called by the Arabs Port of God, Marsala has an interesting city centre. Back to Hotel for Lunch and we enjoy some free time afterwards also for our personal shopping A delicious dinner will give us the possibility to celebrate our last evening together in Ribera

Day 4

Monday – February 27th

Buffet breakfast and later in the morning we board our coach to start our journey back to Catania. A stop for some last shopping in CENTRO SICILIA.( opened PRIMARK) Last hours at Porte di Catania for other shopping before we reach Fontanarossa airport. Airmalta KM643 leaves Catania at 22.20 (10.20pm). Arrival in Malta is at 23.00 (11.00pm).
